ChemBreak - Expansive Mortar
ChemBreak is an expansive mortar used for cracking and breaking rock and concrete, easily and safely, when explosives cannot be used. To break the rock or concrete drill a series of holes, mix ChemBreak with water and pour into the pre-drilled holes. Over a 24 to 48 hour period, ChemBreak will expand and build up tremendous pressure; splitting, cracking and breaking the rock or concrete, safely and effectively.
ChemBreak is ideal for smaller one off jobs, or large quarry work making blocks of granite or marble. There is no capital cost such as buying a machine. There is more drilling involved when compared to using the Boulder Buster. For contractors with ongoing rock or concrete breaking requirements and where time taken to break the rock is critical, the Boulder Buster is the solution.
